NextBus wins Wireless Innovator Award The City of Fairfax, Virginia and NextBus were selected by ComputerWorld Magazine as one of the Top 25 Wireless Innovators.   San Francisco Weekly: Best Muni Solution NextBus has earned a coveted Best of San Francisco from the San Francisco Weekly. They wrote "Through the use of satellite tracking technology, NextBus makes arrival information available online (and in select bus shelters) for several of S.F.'s most-used lines, such as the 22 Fillmore and the N Judah. This advance notice goes a long way toward helping us make ballgames on time or not stand out in the rain for too long. "   Bay Guardian Best of the Bay: Best Antidote for Muni Woes NextBus has taken several coveted Best of the Bay awards from the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Nope..."   NextBus wins AdWheel Award NextBus was honored with a first place showing at the American Public Transportation Association's Twenty-Second Annual AdWheel Awards for its wired and wireless websites.   NextBus wins ITS Award Selected by a our peers, NextBus was chosen as the 2001 ITS Award Winner for the Best Deployment Shown To Save Time. Winners were chosen by Intelligent Transportation Society of America members from among twenty-two finalists in seven categories. Finalists for the coveted awards incorporated the best of intelligent transportation technology.   NextBus wins mCommerce WAPPY Award Chosen from among thousands of candidates, NextBus was recognized for its utility and accuracy within the wireless web world and was given the "Most Original Concept" award.   The Pioneer Award from E-Gov, the National Electronic Government Conference The Pioneer Award is conferred upon government agencies with "best practices" for innovative electronic applications that increase productivity, maximize limited resources and improve the quality, timeliness and accuracy of citizen services.   NextBus wins W@P Award NextBus wins mention for "Best Use of WAP in a Consumer Application." NextBus was selected from over 150 nominees for the prestigious award that honors unique and utilitarian applications in the WAP universe.
